On The Red Carpet...

Did you watch last night?  Did your choice win?  Was it even nominated?  Did you see the movie(s) that WERE nominated?  I think I saw one or two.  But that is not what it is all about is it?  No way!  It's about who wore what.  Was it beautiful?  Hideous?  Or just plain bizarre!?  Let's start with the hostess...co-hostess?  Ann Hathaway.

She truly is lovely.  And she has the best comedic timing.  I enjoyed her throughout the show.  This dress is okay.  Too much poof.  And the girl has a nice figure why hide it?  Her wardrobe throughout was much better.

Hailee Steinfeld

Isn't she adorable?  She looks absolutely charming and lovely in her dress.  It's perfect for her age. (she is 14)

Jennifer Lawrence

Simple beautiful and whoah baby!  I wish I could pull that off!

Melissa Leo--Best Actress in a supporting role

Some where in some small town in a little old house, there is a little old lady wondering what in the world happened to all of her doilies.

Mila Kunis

She is a beautiful woman no doubt.  So why oh why did she insist on looking a fancy mummy?  Did she think it was a costume party this year?

Natalie Portman--Best Actress in a leading role

Pregnant and elegant.  She really is glowing and looking just beautiful.

Nicole Kidman

I am not sure what to make of this dress.  It starts out quite classy and then it takes a weird turn...literally.

Reese Witherspoon

I think she is cute. And her dress and "do" suit her perfectly.  This is another one of those looks I would love to be able to wear!

Amy Adams

Sleek, sexy, and it covers her!  Awesome Amy!

Sandra Bullock Oscar Winner

I LOVED this dress...until...I saw the BIG GIANT bow on her butt.  *sigh*

Scarlett Johansson

The dress is okay I guess.  But it's her hair that bugs me.  I don't get the need these ladies have to have their hair messy.  I do that too, but then people look at me like, "Hey lady, comb your hair! You're not Scarlett Johansson you know!"

Cate Blanchett

OH MY GOSH!  I have no words....well wait....look at it from just below the waist down.  It's actually quite pretty.  Go any further up and you wonder what in the world happened that day!

This is just my "humble" opinion.  I call them as I see them.  Maybe you see it differently than I do.  What did you think of the fashions?  Do you care?  If you could go to the Oscars what would you wear?  I found a few that I liked...here is one...again wishing I could pull it off....

Yes what the heck happened to the top of Cate's dress is right!

I didn't watch, though I do love seeing what everyone wore.

Nope. Didn't watch. And all I can think of when I see those dresses is..."How can you not be in therapy for starving yourself?" Yes I get snarky sometimes. :)

I think Cate Blanchett from the neck up is always ethereal, but that dress...ugh.

I LOVED Jennifer Hudson's orange gown, and Natalie was stunning!

Here's an odd thing: Women LOVE Anne Hathaway. Men really don't like her all that much.

I don't know what it is, she just isn't all that great to me. Every man I have ever talked to about her feels the same way. I mean she has all the pieces to be attractive, but she just comes off as too proper or conceited. I kinda feel the same about Reese Witherspoon.

Natalie Portman, on the other hand, is hot, hot!

I liked Anne Hathaway's dress... come on she was wearing vintage :)... Scarlett Johanssen... Puhleeze, what in the heck was up with her hair. And they interviewed her and she said it was all about glam that night... YUCK! And ah, the Cate Blanchett dress.... gag me! And I think I read where Hailee Steinfeld designed her own dress and when they created it, it was exactly what she had visioned.

I missed it all - the first ear ever that I did not see one of the movies or watch any part of the Oscars - I am not in LA anymore. I think a lot of stylists need to be fired based on these photos.
