Verizon Ruined My Recap!

Image
I hate Verizon!  Can I just say that?  Can I also say that they suck???  Do you know that there is a FB page just for Verizon hating?  I need to go there and like it.  So what is my gripe? Well as you noticed, I missed my recap this for DWTS.  I recorded it so I could watch it on Tuesday and get it all put together Tuesday night.  I went to watch it.  The DVR said:  May 14th.  Why then, was it last week's show???  Seriously.  Last week with the current week's date.  It makes my head hurt (more) to think about that.  So don't blame me.  Blame Verizon! I do know that Maria and Derek went home.  What the French Toast!? Everyone danced two dances on Monday.  I saw one of theirs.  This was their Tango.  He came down the stairs with her legs wrapped around him.  They got two sets of perfect scores and they got sent home.  They should have been in the finals.  Not fair.  I was not happy with that outcome.  But she was gracious and so humble.  She just smiled and said ho

Cat Food and Gas

Sometimes I get the weirdest thoughts at the weirdest times.  And here is where I share those thoughts.  Yesterday at Walmart, I actually had the thought, I wonder if I would be carded for buying alcohol.  I don't even drink.  My vanity just gets in my way.  I decided that the computer would pop up a message signaling the cashier to ask for ID anyway so I could 100 and they would have to ask. Why bother.  But just for my vanity sake...let's all pretend I totally would get carded because I look too young.  ;) Buying cat food and gas can be the highlight of your day.  I hate it when a show I love ends.  Because now what?  Desperate Housewives ended on Sunday.  I love that Felicity Huffman and Doug Savant wanted the show to go on saying it was the best gig they have ever done.  That isn't to say the others said,"Ugh! Thank God it's over!"  No, they were more like, "Oh we would definitely do another season, but...." hahaha.  Dancing with the Star

Me and My Mommy

When I was a kid, my mom played games with me even when she was so tired after a long hard day at work.  She let me have sleep overs.  She let me listen to my music loud and was very happy when those walkman's came out.  She put up with THE OUTSIDERS, THE KARATE KID, and THE MONKEES for hours on end. When I was 16, I knew everything.  Don't we all at that age?  Heaven help me for I am heading into those waters soon.  It would be Five long years before I finally realized how little I actually knew.  It was also about that time that my mom became one of my best friends.  I thought it was amazing how she changed.  Really it was me who changed.  We do lots of things together.  We shop, Zumba, go to Weight Watchers, and even watch TV together.  We use live chat for that last one.  We talk about everything from the silly to the deep.  I know there are people out there who do not and have not talked to their mothers in years by choice.  I find that puzzling and sad.  I also real
