Good News

Ryder was born today (may 14) at 3:10PM MST.  He weighs 4pounds 9 oz.  and is 18 inches long!!!  He looks great and is absolutely gorgeous!    Emmy has not posted on her blog yet, but do keep checking as I am sure she will post soon!  Thanks for your prayers!

Tickled Pink

***Emmy started bleeding this morning so they scheduled her for a C-section at 2:30PM MST.  Keep those prayers and thoughts coming. **** I wanted to give everyone an update on Emmy .  She has been moved to a regular room and her contractions are slowing down.  We want two weeks.   Every day is a day stronger for Ryder.  Keep checking her blog and mine for updates. Now I am Tickled Pink to be a part of great blog hop!  If you are wondering what it is all about, please go and see Holly she will explain everything.  She wants you to share something that has tickled you pink!  Yeah, from your own blog!  How cool is that!?  So, I went snooping around I decided to share my Re-telling of CINDERELLA I did it for a writer's workshop a while back.  Check it out.

Prayers Are Needed

****  New update **** Emmy's contractions have slowed down enough that the doctor thinks she will be able to go at least one more day, which means the steroids for the baby's lungs will be able to take full effect.  She will be posting later today.  Keep checking here and over at her site.  I spoke with her this morning, and she sounds good.  Keep the prayers coming. Prayers are needed from everyone for Emmy from Emmy Mom One Day At  A Time and her family.  While visiting family in Utah, Emmy's water broke.  She is currently in the hospital and the news I have thus far, is the doctors are hoping to get another two weeks before delivering the baby.  Emmy feels it will be more like a few days.  She is barely at 32 weeks.  The good news is she is with family so she has lots of support.  What she and the baby need from us is prayers.  So please include them.   She will be updating her blog as soon as she can. ...

What the Future Holds...

It's the beginning of the end!  This week is the placement for the semi-finals.  The couples have two dances tonight.  Their second dance had a decade of music attached to it.  Sounds okay, til you get a 1950's Paso???  Chad and Cheryl:  The Dance: The Tango  I am so over Chad.  Well, let's be honest here.  I never cared for him in the first place.  I flashed on a show my girls watch called "Sonny with a Chance"  a show within a show.  The neighboring studio has a diva boy and his name is also Chad.  And he is all about CHAD.  The kid who plays him does a good job.  The thing about that Chad is, he is actually decent underneath all his Chadness.  Underneath Chad Occhocinco is just more Chad Occhocinco.    The only reason he is still here is because his football buddies are threatening to beat anybody up who doesn't vote for him.  Len told him learning two dances is very hard and that...

I Have Questions...

Image
After last weeks heavy topic, I thought it would be a good idea to go a little easier this week.  By the way, thank you all for such great comments.  Now I am going to ask some questions of you...don't worry they are mostly painless.  ;) First question:  How was your Mother's Day?   Mine was great.  It started with pancakes and hot chocolate made special for me by Kristin, Emily, and Ryan.  I was bestowed with lovely gifts:  The Princess Bride on blu-ray and a snow globe to add to my collection.    I have SIX now.  Soon I will need more space.  At church I got to be a "mystery mommy" during the children's hour.  It was me and two other mommies.  They had us hidden and asked us a series of questions.  We each disguised our voices and fought hard not to die laughing.  It was lots of fun.  I got a 2 hour nap, dinner and dishes done for me.  It was a good day.  #2.  Are you s...
