How Many is Too Many?

The movie of the week at our house:  The Adventures of SharkBoy and LavaGirl!  As soon as it is over the boy wants to watch it again.  And again. And again.  Do you recognize Sharkboy?  Maybe this will help....
Yeah, even Kristin has had her fill of Sharkboy.  Of course if it were Jacob Black, that would be another story wouldn't it?  It's payback.  Payback for all those times I watched movies over and over.  Cable was new and exciting and they played your favorite movie almost everyday of the month!  And the cable guide was so cool, it would list out the times and dates it would air.  If you were lucky enough to own a VCR you could record your movie and watch whenever you wanted.  Or you could tape record it and listen to it! Over and over again.  So is that what this is?  Pay back?  Because after watching Sharkboy and Lavagirl 4 times in one day, I think I have had my fill of the both of them... until the next time I guess.

What movie did (do) you watch over and over?

When we were little, Eric and I would watch Jetsons meet the Flinstones over and over and over. And Snoopy the Musical. haha

My oldest loved Finding Nemo, Monster,Inc., and the Scooby Doo shows. Over and over and over. I have whole parts memorized. ANd I get to start all over again with my youngest, who is almost two and starting to watch Bob the Builder, Thomas and Scooby Doo now.

My mom says I used to watch Sesame Street three times a day. Beats Lavagirl anytime.

I spared my mom since I didn't watch that much tv but my Emily loves anything with Barbie or princesses.

Once it was Cars, then it was Monsters Inc, then it was Toy Story- now for Lucas it is How It's Made. Luckily he is willing to watch any episode so it isn't the same one over and over

My son went through a Shark Boy and Lava Girl phase. How did I forget that Taylor was in that?

We bought Despicable Me on DVD and the kids watched it for a third time on their Tuesday snow day! It is a cute movie for parents too!

I have a limit of two movies a day. Keith would watch his flavor of the week all day every day if I let him. But for my sanity (though I tell him it is for his brain development) he doesn't get a ton of tv.

But when I was a teen, I watched Princess Bride every Saturday for two years. I had the whole movie memorized. Now, though, the movie I watch the most is probably Pride and Prejudice. Go figure. :)
