Proud Mommy Moments--

I got into a fight with this child about underwear.  Yep, you read that right. Underwear.  She had gathered her clothes for the school day, but claimed she could not find any underwear. I told her to go back upstairs and look again.  To which she simply said, "No."  Oh no she didn't!  Oh yes she did! She said she wanted me to do it.  Okay number one this is totally ridiculous. Hello, you have legs child!  Number two my knee is in arthritic fits right now as is my ankle.  Like h e double tooth picks I am going upstairs to fetch your dang underwear!  Get it yourself!  We literally fought for 5 minutes over WHO was getting her underwear.  I finally told her I am her teacher and not her servant.  She stomped up the stairs and got herself some underwear.  After she was dressed she was finally remorseful.  Yeah.  Look long and hard at that face....she can be stubborn.

Oh he's so sweet.  He will woo you with those big beautiful blue eyes of his.  But don't fooled.  He is a master of deception.  Or at least a devil in disguise.  Last Saturday, Kristin babysat our neighbor's kids and earned a nice chunk of change.  She put it trustingly on her desk.  Why wouldn't she?  I wouldn't take it.  Rich wouldn't.  Emily is far too smart to take that kind of cash.  Monday morning--what is it about MONDAY!?  Monday morning came rolling in and Ryan strolled into the family room with cash in his hands and a big grin.  At first I couldn't figure out where he got money.  Nobody has money in this house.  Then it hit me.  Kristin!  He took her babysitting money.  He happily told me he could now buy lunch!  (And then some you little thief!)  I told him that was Kristin's money and he was to put it back.  He did.  I made sure.

Yep...some proud moments this week!

I am linking up with EmmyMom and KMama this and their Proud Mommy Moments.  What are your PMM's?

Oh boy, you do have a stubborn one, don't you? My youngest was very stubborn, but nobody is more stubborn than me, so I won just like you did.

Your kids are funny and hysterical too. Add in the fact that they are great looking and probably a lot like Mama!

I love your answer "I am the teacher and not a servant."

My boys fight me over underwear almost daily. They don't see a need for it.

That's quite a face she has there, LOL! I guess you could have just let her go "commando" for the day and then see how she felt about underwear....
