Life's Lessons

Do not slam your finger or thumb into a car door.

Do not just lick the "butter" off your finger.

Do not ride a big wheel like it is a scooter.

Do not spray perfume into your eyes.

Do not pick up your casserole dish, cookie pan, or cake pan after it has been in the oven without oven mitts simply because it has been sitting out for short time

Do not try to reason with a five year old.

Do not allow sleep overs when you have a migraine.

Do not stand too close to the edge of the pond.

Do not throw rocks in the air

Do not stick a bobby pin in the electrical outlet.

Do not touch a 9 Volt battery to your braces.

Do not cut toward yourself.
Never schedule an unfinished post...it just might publish before you are ready for it to do so.  Just sayin'.

These are just a few of life's great lessons.  What has life taught you?

Great lessons! I used to always stick 9volt batteries on my tongue- not when I had braces though.

Totally agree with not reasoning with a five year old.
Also: Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I have to wonder if you personally learned all these lessons, (aside from the "butter" *shudder*), and if so, why is life so hard on you! But I do have to laugh about reasoning with a five year old. To be perfectly honest, I think it is ridiculous to reason with anyone under the age of 12 and even then sometimes it doesn't get you anywhere. And hawkeye's comment has me laughing!

And do not pour water into a glass baking dish that's in the oven. Unless you like glass explosions! :)

haha Keep your legs together until you're married so you don't have to deal with kids of split families? Although that isn't me, I'm the step-parent in this instant but I sure wish my husband would have used the head on his shoulders :) his ex wife (only b/c she got preg so he married her) is a witch... Sorry I'm trying to calm down... she drives me flippin insane!
