I Have Nothing To Confess

I have nothing to confess this week, because I have done nothing this week to confess of.  It's true.  I really didn't do anything....

I certainly did not leave my unpacked suitcase sitting on the floor for a day.  And didn't unpack said suit case and pile clean clothes on the stairs and place empty suit case on the first landing of the stairs.  And furthermore, I did not leave clothes and suitcase exactly where I did not place them for three days.

I really didn't cry as was expected when I deserted left Ryan on his first day of Kindergarten.  And I didn't feel a single ounce of mommy guilt for leaving him with that forlorn look on his face.

I didn't watch HARRY POTTER and the HALF BLOOD PRINCE on day two school instead of being productive.  And I am not at all interested in seeing the last TWO installments in November of this year and July of 2011.

I would say that I only vacuumed and swept today because Emily accidentally shattered a supposed non breaking Corningware bowl on the tile floor.  It broke into millions of tiny pieces on the tile and spread onto the carpet, thus forcing me to vacuum.  But then, that never happened.  And I always vacuum and sweep.

I didn't feel like an old lady at the back to school night for Ryan's kindergarten class.  I swear 60% of that room looked fresh out of high school.  As long as the teachers are my age or OLDER it is okay...but when they start to be younger than me it is a problem.

And I didn't come home after Back to School night and eat 5 orero cookies because there were only five left not because I have actual will power.  But it doesn't matter because I didn't eat them.

So see my friends, I have nothing to confess this week.  What is it that you haven't done?

hahaha, I love it! My baby shattered our crock pot lid all over my bathroom tile...it looked like a car wreck in there, all these little pebbly pieces of glass. So much fun.

Yes, and since when did moms need to look like teenagers? Because I certainly did not get the memo.

Love your non-confessional, I will get off my lazy caboose and write one, too!

My suitcase is still on my floor with clothes in it & we went on vacay in June. Noe that's full-on slacker!

Yes tile floors have the ability to shatter non-shatter proof things. My suitcase just got put away yesterday, I mean I put it away the day we got back :)
I love your confessions!! I cried all 3 times mine started Kin and this year when my first baby started her senior year... I cried even more. Oh and I love me some Oreos too but BC Warm Delights are to die for!

Don't think I'll cry when I leave #6 at kindergarten in a couple of weeks. And pretty sure I will over eat and be non-productive. I can't wait.

Go forth and remain sinless Child!
Sometimes I wear myself out so much when I travel, that I just kind of live out of my suitcase for a few days after I get home! Is that wrong? When all you ever wear is jeans and t shirts, it's easy to just kind of slide when you want to...

Love you because we both have Ryan's! mine is 15 months though so Kindergarten is a ways off. I have 3 loads of CLEAN laundry that get tossed on my floor at night and then back on the bed the next morning so I will fold them, then back on the floor that night. Its horrible lol

Love this!

You know, my first year of teaching, I had just turned 22 literally days before my first day of work. I must have looked like a baby!

Oh, I'm scared to do Back To School now. Teachers younger than me? Perish the thought!

Wait! You are to Unpack suitcases??
I just leave them on the floor until I have used everything out of it...and still do not put the suitcase away.
Glad to hear that!
Thank you for your kind words on my blog...I appreciate you very much.

Hahaha!
Better than me. I wash the clothes before we come home from vacation and then use my suitcase as a chest of drawers until I wash again. Why am I confessing???

I feel the same way - am I the oldest mother at school?? They're all in their 20's around here and the teachers are fresh from student teaching.
