How Many IIs That?

Battle number one: should I make cookies or not? Okay that one is not really a battle. The battle was deciding what kind. Chocolate chip. A double recipe of course.

Battle number two: My washing machine. Well, really it isn't mine. It belongs to the landlords. This thing walks no matter what it is in it! Drives me nuts. Well this time it walked so hard it ended up blocking the door. Now remember my victories from yesterday? Those were very real. No shoving and stuffing was done. I earned my stripes. That being said, my laundry room is a scary place. It's not very big to begin with, and right now it has about 2 feet of workspace. This happened once before, and maybe the room was clean then...I don't remember. What I remember is having Kristin climb through the small opening between the door and the washer and push it out of the way. She did it. Well today she was at school, and I certainly won't fit through that space. So the battle begins. Why? Because I am a tad OCD and can't let things go. So I shoved my chubby arm in there and gave it some hearty pushes. It pushed me back and tried to pin my arm in the door. "Oh no you didn't!" I pushed it again and felt the door give a little in my favor. One more heave ho and I was IN! HA! I'd done it again! Don't mess me with me! I am on fire!

Battle number three: The beginning of a migraine. These things should not exist. I do have prescribed medication for them, but I am out. Not only am I out, I don't think it has been 30 days since I last filled it. And as with most insurances, not only do I have to wait 30 days, I only get nine of these at a time. They are not even a narcotic!! In fact, I can get those in a larger number for a cheaper price. Now make sense of that! That is another battle for another day. So I resorted to 600 mg of Ibuproferen and a diet coke. Not exactly my meds, but makes a decent cocktail in a pinch. By lunch, I still had a headache. 600 more mg and lay down on the couch while Ryan quietly watches TV. This battle is raging on. My mom even recommended taking excedrine. Oooh, I hate that stuff. It is very mean to my belly and makes me a little on the whacko side. (It has 65mg of caffeine per tablet. More than a cup of coffee!) I couldn't take anything until after I got all the kids back from school anyway.....

Well that leads into another battle of drama. I am not sure how much more I can take. I refuse to give up. I may want to bury my head in the sand, but that means my fanny is in the air. I just have to breathe and deal with these dramas a piece at a time because that is all we can do. That and pray!

My migraine and I are still circling each other. I can feel its presence. I hope to sleep it off tonight. But anyone who has or does suffer migraines knows that is merely a pipe dream. I will push through it to best of my abilities and try not to take anyone down in the process. Tomorrow is another day..."store day" as Ryan likes to call it. "Store day" with a three(near 4) year old is a battle every time.

Bring him to my house! Seriously, some Friday if you want you are more than welcome to drop him off and shop in peace!

Glad you showed that washer a lesson.
you are like the champion of the world! Garage doors and washing machines don't stand a chance against you.

Migrines are the worst. I do not think you "homeopathic" cocktail will do the trick. Good luck.

I want to live by Emmy.

Ew migraines. Can't help you there, because I rarely get them but boy my sister sure does. I don't know how she does it.

I want to know why even the prescription migraine meds only work for a couple months and then I have to find a new one. So frustrating! I hope you are feeling better now.
