Ten Things Nov. 2011

Last month our Bishop challenged us to write one thing we were thankful for each day over the course of the next 30 days.  My mom and I did this, and emailed our list to each other every night.  Some days it was simple stuff:  no rehearsal for Kristin.  That was one less car ride for me.  Other times it was gratitude for shelter.  I picked simple things most days.  It was a good assignment.  And of our own accord, we are doing it again.

Today, it is time to reflect on just Ten Things to smile about for the month of November.  And to link up with my BFF Emmy!

1.  Emily earned a gold certificate as she leveled up in state testing.

2.  Ryan reading double the amount of wpm for a first grader.

3.   All three kids having good dental check ups...no cavities.

4.  Feeling the Christmas spirit even before Thanksgiving.

My all time favorite commercial

5.   Learning that one of Ryan's friends lives just two doors down.

6.   Taking Ryan and Emily Christmas shopping (at the Dollar Tree) so that they could buy presents just like their sister did with her babysitting money.

7.  My turkey that literally filled and spilled out of the roasting pan.  All 24 pounds of him.  He was super moist and delicious.  A shout out to Emmy for introducing me to brinning last year!  If you haven't done it...do!  YUM.

8.  It was a smaller Thanksgiving--we only had 13...14 if you count the baby...but it was still wonderful being with my family.
9.  Zumba....yes I am totally thankful for it.  I am also thankful I can go twice a week.

10.  Christmas music.  I just love it.

What are you thankful for?

All wonderful things. I can barely count all the things that I'm thankful for.

Glad you had a great Thanksgiving! We only had the 4 of us. It was wonderful, but I miss big family get togethers.

Great great list and thank you for linking up and helping me get my brain back in gear!
So awesome about Ryan and Emily at school. Do you ever see Ryan anymore or is he always playing with his friend?

That bird is beautiful and so glad brinning worked for you :)
