AWOL

  • It's true I went AWOL.
  • I had to take Ryan to the doctor.  He's had a cold/stuffy nose/cough for about 2 weeks now.
  • Doc gave him Amoxicillian.  And suggested nasal spray.  Yeah, that's going to be fun.
  • After we got home, I took a nap.  Maybe I should stop going to bed at 1AM
  • My house has taken a real beating since Christmas.  It looks like a war zone
  • I left my dishes last night so I had a kitchen wipe out.
  • I am drinking two diet cokes a day.  It used to be just one.  But now it is two at least. I actually feel my body crying for one.
  • But it's okay cause I can cut that second one out any time I want.
  • I thought about cutting chocolate out of my diet, but I'm no quitter!
  • So far my decluttering resolution has not taken place.  I am trying to figure out where to start.
  • Perhaps first I should make it possible to simply walk through the house.
  • Seriously it's a mine field of toys, shoes, and miscellaneous items.
  • I am totally addicted to my iPod.  Originally I wanted it to have when I was out and about...if there is wifi I can play and chat.  I played games for a while...but now I am embarrassed to say I use it for events, timers, notes, and like practical stuff.  I mean what is that anyway!?
  • I am sure I have much more to confess, but that can wait until next time!!  If you want to play too.. you can link up with Glamazon and Mamarazzi!

Yes I kept checking yourblog yesterday. Good luck with the nasal spray. I was about to say your iPod addiction will get better with time... But well no, it might just slightly lessen :)

My son's pediatrician got him to use the nasal spray by threatening him with a shot. I was appalled at the time but it worked.

Nasal spray for kids--no fun! I often leave the dishes in the hopes that the elves will come do them. Stupid elves still haven't shown up.

Hey, my little guy had that same thing for over 3 weeks and the amoxicillin is working, thank God!

My house took a big hit at Christmas too. I'm just now recovering, and Sunday I'm having (I invited 25 but not sure how many are showing up) people over so tomorrow is operation CLEAN UP HOUSE :)

Haha! You are too funny. Good luck with the diet coke and chocolate... wait, no worries, you are no quitter! I hope your son feels better soon, and good luck with the house. I am not looking forward to cleaning this place out. I have a hard enough time keeping it decluttered, let alone deep cleaning. You are my hero.

I'm afraid you have become evil now and need to repent! But maybe not.

Could be worse. I am up to 2 Pepsis a day. And they are the 32 ounce variety.

Sorry about the illness. Hope all is well soon.

I've been studiously ignoring my de-cluttering resolution =) Maybe I should get of the interwebs and actually be productive on my unexpected day off.

Have a great week!
