I quickly got up and headed to the boy's room. Sure enough. There was Ryan, wide awake and playing on the iPod. He defended he was thirsty. I was still in too much of a fog to find reason or even simply give him a drink of water. Instead, I laid down with him and fell asleep. I woke up about 20 minutes later to find him still awake. He told me I forgot to get him water. So we got water and laid down again. He fell asleep this time. So did I. For about 30 minutes.
This morning the thief struck again. He tried to take my phone this morning and resulted in knocking my glasses under the bed. Awesome. Good thing I thing I still have the old ones.
The face of a thief?
Do you have a proud Mommy moment to share?

Awww, he's not a thief! He's a "borrower." :)
Lol-sounds like he needs his own ;)
Thanks so much for playing along!!
Your little borrower looks to sweet and innocent. I think that's working in his favor. I have several thiefs at my house: they love to take my husband's phone, but when he's not around their prime focus it food! I need to stop buying junk so they'll stop stealing it. :)
He's the cutest little thief I've ever seen!
sneaky little devil... have to keep an eye on him!
As cute as he is, I'm afraid he could get away with grand larceny and I'd still want to cuddle him!
awwww!! lol he is such a cutie! he couldn't be a thief! :)
Hm, this sounds SO MUCH like a thief I know of similar age that has figured out there are games on his mom's iPod.
Hey, just added you to my Cheeseroll. Congratulations!
My boys are little ninjas in the morning, trying to sneak into my room and get mine! LOL
Ha!! Buddy would totally steal ours if we didn't tell him it was off limits unless he asked. He's such a techy.
Love that picture of Ryan. Emmy did good!
But Mom, it's a toy! I need it! :)
The last kid that tried to take my phone ended up in a scissorlock. I don't have a smartphone, but it's the principle of the thing!
