I am participating in the regular Friday Meme Friday Confessional Hosted by Mamarazzi.. . I confess... I am a huge bit of a nerd.  We rented RANGO on demand the other day.  The kids loved it.  A confession within a confession--Ryan can be hard to watch a movie with and a total blast.  This one he was the ladder.  His reactions to things were classic.  I digress.  Whether or not you have seen this movie is not important, there is a snake...Jake the Snake.  He's a bad dude.  Real bad.  And his voice was bugging me.  Now I have hearing issues, but if I hear an actor that sounds familiar I am hitting IMDB before the next line is uttered.  He sounded like Davey Jones from the Pirates movies.  Minus the English accent.  Jake had a Southern Drawl.  But there was something about his voice and the delivery and I just couldn't let it go.  So I went looking.  And sure enough.  It was indeed the same ac...

I had to go to the orthopedic doctor for the results on my MRI.  I had arranged with my mom to watch the kids...not that I really need that.  Kristin is old enough to care for them, but I had already been gone all morning.  Kristin is my natural born worrier, and there was a possible chance I had a tear and that would require surgery to repair.  She wanted to come with me.  I warned her it would be boring.  It's always a long wait.  And it was.  Waiting in the waiting room was the easy part.  It was waiting for the doctor that took forever.  At one point, Kristin looked at me and asked, "Are you bored?"  What can I say? Sometimes I just don't want to do just about anything I am supposed to do.  Fill in the blank:  laundry, clean, parent, but it also extends out further to the fun things that I enjoy.  Sometimes I don't want to blog, edit my photos, it's all work and no fun. Today I have to take Kristin to the HIGH SCHOOL....HIGH SCHOOL folks! To register.  I am fighting with the middle school.  I have been having nothing but trouble for Emily's schooling since May.  She was supposed to register yesterday!  Yeah thanks for the heads up!  No email.  No phone call nothing.  I just happen to be on the site and saw that it was that day.  Plus her friend called and wanted to compare schedules.  Made me so mad! I have to sit down and figure out how to juggle money around because we are behind on so many things.  That doesn't help my mood any.  I don't want to mess this either.  But procrastinating doesn't help.  It just makes ...

This is my computer for now.  Two keyboards.  Hey at least it works!  I am happy about that.  I was so worried.  I can not tell you how many pictures I thought would be lost.  Time to make some discs.  Upload to photobucket.  something! It's bad!  It's like in the thousands!  So yes it is a very good thing, but the original keyboard is still trying to work and will type random things like 8's and +'s.  Sometimes it will go in the search bars and start typing a whole bunch of 8's.  but mostly it is quiet. I get a replacement keyboard in two days.  I hope that it fixes everything. I got to hold my beautiful new (grand) nephew.  My husband made the mistake of calling me Great Aunt...I said...no.  Like my lovely Aunt...you can call her Aunt Susie or Susie...but not Great Aunt.  No way.  auntie is fine.  my niece calls me "Auntie." so her son can do the same. I have a new grand nephew.... AJ was born this morning at 4:12AM  he weighs 9pounds 4 ounces and is 21 inches long.  Guess what else?  My computer may be dead.  Water got spilled on it.  Not nice.  I am off to see to see this little guy my lovely niece.  Have a great Monday! 

I didn't post yesterday.  It wasn't because I ran out of steam, or had nothing good to say.  In fact, yesterday I could have played along with Emmy and KMama in their meme for Proud Mommy Moments!  But I was in the middle of a medical mess.  I still kind of am.  So today, instead of the usual Friday Confessional with Mamarazzi , I am going to drop an F-Bomb.  This was something Mimi over at Living in France used to do.  Whether she does it or not still does not matter.  She is hilarious and you should visit her(along with all the other fabulous ladies I have mentioned!)  And now onto my rant explanation. Wednesday, we went to a local lake.  A lake we can not swim in.  It's drinking water so they don't want bodies polluting the water.  But boats are okay.  Yum.  Anyfumes...they have a water park.  I don't mean slides and pools and things.  I mean all kinds of sprinklers and fun fountains and waterfalls...
