Proud Mommy Moments

Image
Now that the holiday's are officially over and the stores have piled everything into a corner with their 75% off sign, EmmyMom and KMama are back with their weekly meme:  Proud Mommy Moments! In our church, the children ages 3-11 go to Primary.   This year our kids learned and studied scriptures.  As they did, they created a chain.  And this chain grew and grew and grew.  It was huge!   And here they all are at the end of the year holding the chain, each link representing the scriptures they learned and committed to memory.  Isn't that awesome?  And what mother wouldn't be proud?  Look at all those wonderful faces?  Hmmm....let's find Emily.... Awww....isn't she sweet....now....let's find Ryan....shall we..... Yep!  There he is!  My son! What are your proud moments?

And the Winner Is....

And the winner of the of the 2011 Review Extravaganza is.... Jen of The Denton Sanatorium!!! Thank you all so much for linking up.  I still haven't read everybody's!  I will.  If it takes me all year however long it takes!  In the meantime, go and visit Jen to congratulate her and give her some bloggy love!!! Have a great day!

Ten Things To Smile About Dec

Image
It is time to link up with EmmyMom and list just ten things that made me smile in the month of December!  So here we go.... 1.  Kristin had her first Choir concert.  It was very good.  I enjoyed it.  And their school is the only one in the district to have a full orchestra!   2.  Taking Ryan and Emily Christmas shopping at the dollar tree for their sister and Dad because it was so important to them. 3.  Emily building a Nativity set with her pet shops and a little tent. 4.  Seeing Ryan climb right up into Santa's lap for the first time this year. 5.  Getting my craft on...for the first time in ages!!!! And doing quite well. 6.  A snowball fight in a can!  More info and pics on that to come!   7.    Christmas Watching my kids is my favorite part! 8.  A Santa baby! 9.  Seeing my BFF again! 10.  Co-hosting the Review Extravaganza!  It was a blast! What made you smile???

Resolutions vs. Promises
