CA Girl

Today I am being featured over at Things I Can't Say with the lovely Shell .  Now if you have never visited her before, you must!  She is a great blogger and I am so excited to be her featured blogger today.  I have to admit, I may have squealed a little delight and then did a happy dance.  There did you see me, I just did it again! It is time for those Proud Mommy Moments to share and link up with Emmy and Kmama .  And I am going to ride a little on the coattails of my bestie and use pictures for my post.  Now I don't have a melt your heart toddler anymore, but I think my kids are pretty good looking just the same.  Kristin is in The Hobbit this week at school.  I saw it last weekend with Emmy .  Kristin is an elf.  She and all the other kids worked tremendously hard on this production.  All moms should be proud, and so should the teacher.  Maybe I am biased towards her.  Just a tad.  It's something that is important to her.  She keeps up with her school work despite a hectic schedule. Emily may be quiet and reserved, but there is a wild and spunky persona just beneath the surface.  It comes out when you least expect it.  This week is red ribbon week and every day has had a theme tied to it.  Yesterday at her school was super hero day!  She was one of the very few who actually wore a c

It's Broadway baby!  What a fun theme night.  Carson Cressley  got to be called in for creative director.  Hey if you can't dance it, teach it!  I was glad he was back to play and help out. Rob and Cheryl 1-800-868-3402 Rob and Cheryl  dance The Cha Cha from "Jersey Boy."  All I can say is, loosen up Rob.  Len said it was clean precise and had good timing, but that there was no ryhtmn.  "It was all stiff and starchy." Bruno told Rob that when you do "Broadway" you've got to take it full on!  He called Rob's dance attiquette. Carrie Ann said that it was not as great as last week, but it had a lot more charisma.   She said he was quite the man on the dance floor, and added that he was a late bloomer. Scores: Carrie Ann:  8 Len: 7 Bruno: 7 Total: 22  Nancy and Tristan 1-800-868-3405 Nancy and Tristan are dancing to Spamalot with a  Foxtrot.  Now Nancy is no Kirstie Alley, but she has come a long way. 

Oh no they didn't!  Oh yes they did!  They have started showing Christmas commercials.  Christmas commercials.  We haven't even gone trick or treating yet.  Is it too much to ask to wait for this until November 1st at least? "TCB"  Taking Care of Business.  Elvis wore that on a ring.  I hate doing it.  You know what I'm talking about.  Phone calls.  Whether it is making or canceling appointments or dealing with a bill that has gone wrong.  I just hate doing it. I am more of texting/emailing kind of girl.  That whole kind of technology was invented just for people like me. How often do you remember your dreams?  Rich was telling me of his bizarre dream from the night before, and all I could think was hmmm did I even have a dream?  Well I am sure I did, but seriously do not remember my dreams most nights.  I just sleep.  Dreams are an important part of sleep, so I am sure I do dream, I just simply do not remember them. This past weekend was non stop for me. 

In light of my serious and loaded question last week, I thought I would ask some fun and random questions. Have you ever been driving somewhere you normally go, and the car goes the wrong way?  Certainly it must the car.  It couldn't possibly be your fault. Have you ever forgotten to put on deodorant and wondered what that smell was? Have you ever wondered where all the pens and pencils have gone? Who ate the last cookie? Have you ever forgotten to pay a bill? We all call our children by the wrong name, but do any of them have a combination of two?  Emily is forever being called "Kr-Emily" Poor dear. Ever been so tired that your thought process stops mid sentence? If one or more of these things have happened to you, congratulations you are a parent, over worked and exhausted.  There is no known cure.  Except maybe sleep.  I can neither confirm no deny any of these have happened to me.
