Questions for Tuesday, April 5, 2011!

1. What is your idea best date?  A quiet restaurant made for grown ups.  You know with actual linens.  Low lights.  A nice stroll...yeah I'm sappy like that.
2. How long does it take you to get ready to go on a date?  Before marriage probably an hour.  Now...ten minutes.  If that.
3. What would you wear on the date?  Depends on where I am going. 
4. If you are married, how often do you go on dates? If you are single, when was your last date?  Dates?  What are those anyway?  We have been trying to go out at least once a month.  Even if it is for froyo.
5. What was your worst date?  Being told we were going to the beach(San Diego) and then first having breakfast with like ALL his family, then a drive up to the mountains.  Glad I dumped that one!
6. Do you/Did you kiss on your first date?  Who me??
7. If married, how long before you knew he/she was the one? If single, how long before you know if the person is marriage material?  I can't remember when I knew, but my mom knew after he came back from his first patrol(he was in the CG on a ship) they were gone for 4 weeks.  She knew right then and there.  I was not cued in yet.
8. Do you prefer day dates or night dates?  Night.  It's the grown up factor.
9. How old were you when you first were allowed to date?  16
10. What is the most embarassing moment you have had on a date? Seriously, nothing comes to mind.  I guess I have been lucky.  And after 17 years of marriage, 3 children there just isn't too much to be embarrassed about.

I was 16 too, but I didn't have my first date until I was 17 because I was cool like that. And yeah, I did kiss my wife on our first date, technically our second. Depends on who you ask.

i don't think my parents ever gave me any dating rules because i didn't get asked on one until i was 18 and a half haha. it was never an issue.
and now i want froyo :p

Haha... I actually told a guy on a first date that "Water makes you pee". Oh yeah I'm classy like that :)

Eric and I got the in habit of going out a lot before Ryder was born and while we don't go nearly as often we still do pretty good at going out which I really do like.

We're trying for one date a month. It's hard, though!

I can't really remember an embarrassing date, either. I'm sure they happened, I just don't remember.

A Leave of Absence

I just wanted let you all know that I am taking a (short) leave of absence. I was feeling under the weather last Friday, and Saturday I was a lump. By Monday I felt almost normal again. Tuesday even better! By Wednesday night the whole left side of my face felt completely packed. Today(Thursday) I am at death's door. Or maybe it's at mine! Dancing with the Stars---Dead

That is how the show was introduced on Halloween night.  "Dead, from Hollywood, it's Dancing with the Stars!"  with your host, Tom Boooo-geron! Oh and Brooke who didn't get a play on her name.  Tonight, the dances are all spooktacularly themed.  Plus there is also a team dance. David and Kym 1-800-868-3406 David and Kym are dancing The Cha Cha and David wants to add magic to the act, so they bring in a professional magician to help with some basic tricks.  I enjoyed their Cha Cha.  It was fun. Len said it had  lots of tricks and treats and that David turned himself into a dancer! Bruno told him he has got the prestige, and that he was a natural at turning tricks. Carrie Ann said his improvement was phenomenal. She said he was polished and finessed, but that he needed to work on his holds.
