I Just Gotta Tell You...

I confess....

I totally caved and we now have a cat.  But the cat comes with a contract.  I really don't want to take care of the little fur ball.  Kristin's babysitting money paid for the litter box, litter, scoop and all that.  Yeah.  She really wanted this cat.  He's doing pretty good so far.  

I confess....

I got a haircut on Wednesday and it felt weird.  I usually go six or seven months between cuts.  So after my last cut, I started saving money towards the next one.  I didn't have appointment, my mom did.  I went with her and our hairdresser squeezed me in later that day.  I actually had the thought, "I don't need a haircut."  and for a fleeting moment I had a pang of guilt.  WHAT!?  It's true.

I bought me some chocolate.  That's all.

I am going to poke fun at my niece.  She is pregnant.  She has parenting advice for me. Isn't she cute?  Yeah.  We won't tell her.  It would spoil all the fun.
I confess...

I love watching The Golden Girls on Lifetime.  Sometimes I know the dialogue.  I don't care.  I enjoy the show.  If Designing Women was on somewhere I would watch that too.

I confess...

I am still waiting for the house elves to come and clean.  The waiting list must be huge!

Those house elves keep skipping my house too. I think I need chocolate for Valentines day--the good stuff from the chocolate shop here in town. Mmmm, chocolate.

I just bought chocolate too! Dang it.

And good for you, you should totally spoil yourself and get your haircut when you want! Hey, you aren't paying $750 every two weeks to get it cut like Bieber. So yes enjoy.

And oh the things we think we know all about parenting, until we become on ourselves :)

I want chocolate! May have to make a run to the store. I miss Designing Women too! That was one of my favorites years ago... I cried when Dixie passed. She always seemed to be such a lady!

Go you for getting your hair cut! I'm the same way as you- once, twice a year tops. Until now. I got it chopped about a month ago and I love it. And I'm not waiting 6 months to have it cut again. I want to stay this cute, dangit! :)

I have a cat. I love him but I wouldn't get another one. He is old now and very sweet. But in his youth, uh, not so sweet and sort of destructive.

I just wanted let you all know that I am taking a (short) leave of absence. I was feeling under the weather last Friday, and Saturday I was a lump. By Monday I felt almost normal again. Tuesday even better! By Wednesday night the whole left side of my face felt completely packed. Today(Thursday) I am at death's door. Or maybe it's at mine! Dancing with the Stars---Dead

That is how the show was introduced on Halloween night.  "Dead, from Hollywood, it's Dancing with the Stars!"  with your host, Tom Boooo-geron! Oh and Brooke who didn't get a play on her name.  Tonight, the dances are all spooktacularly themed.  Plus there is also a team dance. David and Kym 1-800-868-3406 David and Kym are dancing The Cha Cha and David wants to add magic to the act, so they bring in a professional magician to help with some basic tricks.  I enjoyed their Cha Cha.  It was fun. Len said it had  lots of tricks and treats and that David turned himself into a dancer! Bruno told him he has got the prestige, and that he was a natural at turning tricks. Carrie Ann said his improvement was phenomenal. She said he was polished and finessed, but that he needed to work on his holds.
