Friday Five



Emmy Mom


I am linking up with my bestie, Emmy for Friday Five.  And you all thought I was going to miss this week of blogging entirely.  Oh ye of little faith!  ;)  The hard part starts next month when I attmpt to blog TWICE a week!

1.  It rained last week.  That's a really big deal here in S. CA.  Such a big deal that kids and grown ups alike will actually stand at the window and stare at it.

2.  Kristin and her friend a dog on one of those rainy days.  This was no ordinary dog.  The poor dear was missing a leg.  She was very sweet.  Happily, between a FB friend and her work with a rescue worker we were able to reunite the dog with her family.

3.  I wasn't going to watch the Oscars, but I did.  I had more fun tweeting than watching.  And I totally loved the pizza guy.  He had no idea.

4.  I had a really bad day on Monday.  We all do.  They just suck when they happen.  It was a battle especially with homework(mine) but I got through it.

5.  Do you have pictures of people that are worthy of blackmail?  I do!  (insert evil laughter)


I have lost 5.8 pounds.  This is my reward.  I get another reward at ten pounds!

The rain caused some of the trees to fall.  We are in a drought though and need more rain.

These cats think I am their bed.

Look at the way his legs are twisted.  Does that look painful to you too??

I kidnapped my daughter's Loki doll.  I had a little bit of fun.

Oh his legs do look painful! How do kids do that? Strange. Your cats both look so shiny and soft in that picture I just want to pet them!

Yep we did lots of rain watching here.

My daughter sits twisted up like a pretzel half the time. I'll never understand how she gets her body to do that. Ah, to be young again!

5.8 pounds is awesome! I've been working out for 6 weeks and have barely lost anything. Frustrating.

A Leave of Absence

I just wanted let you all know that I am taking a (short) leave of absence. I was feeling under the weather last Friday, and Saturday I was a lump. By Monday I felt almost normal again. Tuesday even better! By Wednesday night the whole left side of my face felt completely packed. Today(Thursday) I am at death's door. Or maybe it's at mine! All I know is, I haven't felt this crappy in a long time. I spent the day at my mom's and mostly slept. Thanks Mom. Now Rich is home and he is running the show. Dancing with the Stars---Dead

That is how the show was introduced on Halloween night.  "Dead, from Hollywood, it's Dancing with the Stars!"  with your host, Tom Boooo-geron! Oh and Brooke who didn't get a play on her name.  Tonight, the dances are all spooktacularly themed.  Plus there is also a team dance. David and Kym 1-800-868-3406 David and Kym are dancing The Cha Cha and David wants to add magic to the act, so they bring in a professional magician to help with some basic tricks.  I enjoyed their Cha Cha.  It was fun. Len said it had  lots of tricks and treats and that David turned himself into a dancer! Bruno told him he has got the prestige, and that he was a natural at turning tricks. Carrie Ann said his improvement was phenomenal. She said he was polished and finessed, but that he needed to work on his holds.
