Proud Mommy Moments~~Primary Program

It's time for those Proud Mommy Moments.  And this past Sunday, our church held its annual Primary Program where the children, for lack of a better term, run the show.  They give talks (small ones) and sing songs.  And it is all the children.  From the teeny tiniest (age 3) to the ones about done with the program overall (age 11.)  It's a long process of weekly practicing every Sunday.  And in the end, it is amazing how reverent they are.  And what a sweet gentle Spirit they always bring.

I was so proud when Ryan came to microphone to recite his small part.  He read it clearly, he did not require any aide from the teacher and he even looked out into the congregation.  I was so proud of him. (Insert big smile here)  Now comes the humbler.  As the program progressed, Ryan began to wiggle.  Okay he is only seven.  And then he started to play with his slap bracelet a little.  And then, he had it set on his wrist like a scope and was peering through it like a sniper.  His Primary teacher (a man) was doing everything he could to maintain a straight face.  I still can't decide what was funnier.  What a proud moment.

What about you?  Do you have a proud moment this week?  Link up with Emmy and KMama

Ah the primary program! As long as my kids don't swallow the microphone as they give their parts, I'm happy!

Well at least he did his part good right? :) It is hard to sit still that long. Great post!
