Cat Food and Gas

Sometimes I get the weirdest thoughts at the weirdest times.  And here is where I share those thoughts. 

Yesterday at Walmart, I actually had the thought, I wonder if I would be carded for buying alcohol.  I don't even drink.  My vanity just gets in my way.  I decided that the computer would pop up a message signaling the cashier to ask for ID anyway so I could 100 and they would have to ask. Why bother.  But just for my vanity sake...let's all pretend I totally would get carded because I look too young.  ;)

Buying cat food and gas can be the highlight of your day. 

I hate it when a show I love ends.  Because now what?  Desperate Housewives ended on Sunday.  I love that Felicity Huffman and Doug Savant wanted the show to go on saying it was the best gig they have ever done.  That isn't to say the others said,"Ugh! Thank God it's over!"  No, they were more like, "Oh we would definitely do another season, but...." hahaha.  Dancing with the Stars is almost over too...but they will be back.  And don't even get me started with Grey's Anatomy.  I still gripe about them throwing George under the bus!

This weekend we are going on a mini vacation with Emmy and her family.  We are just going to swim and hang out and laugh.  Boy I tell ya, I need that.  Don't we all?  Just once in a while?  A little break from reality.  The kids are counting down and making sure what day (and time) we are leaving.  "Are we there yet!?"  It will be lots of fun.

Supposedly they are losing a cast member off Grey's. I saw a preview of the RR show for either tomorrow or Thursday and they had Miranda Bailey on there (dunno her real name).

Looks like fun!

If you have snails in your yard I hear they love to literally drown themselves in beer. So you could go get beer and say it's simply pest control and test whether or not you get carded. Just a random thought.... :D

Yes so looking forward to this weekend. I need my Lourie time! We will have to do Better about documenting everything and taking lots of crazy pics of you and me :)

I have no doubt I would be carded. :)

Eeeeek I work at a grocery store and hate having to card people! It's because I'm such a terrible judge of age, sometimes I ask to see people's ID and they're over 30! Haha I would probably totally card you.

Your upcoming weekend sounds so wonderful, and on the subject of show endings...they always kill off the new shows that I like and so I have kinda stopped watching anything new because of that.

Except reality. I'm hopeless addicted to that.

I just wanted let you all know that I am taking a (short) leave of absence. I was feeling under the weather last Friday, and Saturday I was a lump. By Monday I felt almost normal again. Tuesday even better! By Wednesday night the whole left side of my face felt completely packed. Today(Thursday) I am at death's door. Or maybe it's at mine! Dancing with the Stars---Dead

That is how the show was introduced on Halloween night.  "Dead, from Hollywood, it's Dancing with the Stars!"  with your host, Tom Boooo-geron! Oh and Brooke who didn't get a play on her name.  Tonight, the dances are all spooktacularly themed.  Plus there is also a team dance. David and Kym 1-800-868-3406 David and Kym are dancing The Cha Cha and David wants to add magic to the act, so they bring in a professional magician to help with some basic tricks.  I enjoyed their Cha Cha.  It was fun. Len said it had  lots of tricks and treats and that David turned himself into a dancer! Bruno told him he has got the prestige, and that he was a natural at turning tricks. Carrie Ann said his improvement was phenomenal. She said he was polished and finessed, but that he needed to work on his holds.
