Karma Never Forgets!

If you thought my troubles with Verizon were sick and wrong, wait til you hear this.  Most of you know of and have seen the devastation behind the tornadoes that leveled Joplin, MO.  I have a dear bloggy friend who lives very close to all of this.  Her blog:  Life's a Beach has been featuring a lot what has been happening there.  You can go and visit her today and find out how to help rebuild.  Why am I bringing this up?  Well I am glad you asked.  

On Friday when I posted my FBOMB about Verizon--who are still being poopy by the way--my lovely bloggy friend told me that *DISH Network is charging folks in JOPLIN $500 for replacement of people's lost satellite dishes.  Ex-squeeze me!?  Baking  Powder!?  Did I read that correctly?  DISH NETWORK is asking FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS to replace the dishes that people lost in addition to their HOMES!?  I can only imagine your disgust at this.  So I am not even going to ask if you are.  Instead I am going to ask this:  Would you be willing to write DISH NETWORK a letter to set them straight.  Shame them.  Whatever you want to say.  It's sickening.  And let them know, that Karma never forgets.

* It is DIRECT TV that is doing this.  My mistake.

I can't believe they're being so bottom-line minded on that? They totally missed the boat on some seriously good press if they had done the right thing. Now they come off looking like complete jerks!

What jerks. I would write a letter but we don't even get any kind of cable and now maybe we never will ON PRINCIPLE!

Wow, that is DISGUSTING!!! Wow. More than write a letter, if you have DirecTV, everyone should switch. I am sort of sick now.

No way!! That is just wrong. Makes me glad we are about to cancel Direct TV- I will tell Eric he should tell them this is part of the reason when we cancel :)

A Leave of Absence

I just wanted let you all know that I am taking a (short) leave of absence. I was feeling under the weather last Friday, and Saturday I was a lump. By Monday I felt almost normal again. Tuesday even better! By Wednesday night the whole left side of my face felt completely packed. Today(Thursday) I am at death's door. Or maybe it's at mine! Dancing with the Stars---Dead

That is how the show was introduced on Halloween night.  "Dead, from Hollywood, it's Dancing with the Stars!"  with your host, Tom Boooo-geron! Oh and Brooke who didn't get a play on her name.  Tonight, the dances are all spooktacularly themed.  Plus there is also a team dance. David and Kym 1-800-868-3406 David and Kym are dancing The Cha Cha and David wants to add magic to the act, so they bring in a professional magician to help with some basic tricks.  I enjoyed their Cha Cha.  It was fun. Len said it had  lots of tricks and treats and that David turned himself into a dancer! Bruno told him he has got the prestige, and that he was a natural at turning tricks. Carrie Ann said his improvement was phenomenal. She said he was polished and finessed, but that he needed to work on his holds.
