Y...Because we like you!

Do you remember?  I mean really?  Way back when.  It's Alphabae-Thursday with Jenny, and you know what that means?  I have to come up with something clever for the letter Y.  My daughter gave me the perfect word the other day when we were being nerdy and quoting Toy Story 2--since we have only seen it about 30 times.  Well she tried to yodel like Jesse the Yodeling Cowgirl.  And while she (Jesse) does do a good job, it isn't true yodeling.  I gave a feeble attempt and quickly wished I had left it to the imagination.  But how else can you describe yodeling?  Besides to...YODEL!

I am not a yodeler.  And that is a fact.  Last week, I had the letter X with some fact and fiction....and wow the guesses were all over the place.  I will say, that despite the way my sister and I fought, we did grow up and became the best of friends.  With that being said...let me tell the truth....

1.  My sister broke my pinky.  True.  She did indeed.  She was throwing a punch and I put my hand up to block.  The full blow was on my pinky.  It is more crooked than the other, and I noticed the other day slightly fatter.  Yay for arthritis! NOT!

2.  I broke my sister's nose.  False.  I never did.  I don't think I ever actually punched her face.  Aren't I a good sister?

3.  My sister broke her toe kicking me.  True.  She kicked me and for whatever reason she hit it just right and broke her big toe.

So now for some more fact and fiction....

1.  I once got lost in the mountains
2.  I once got lost in the mall
3.  I once got lost at the zoo.

Now....link up and play.  You can do both.  There's no laws.  Look down there and see Jenny's button.  And then you can link up with Mr. Linky here, with The Drama Mama and with Jenny and have a blast!

Hmm that is tricky...I am going to guess the zoo is false...seems too obvious.

So it was the broken nose one- aha!

Hmm...I choose the mall as false!

I can easily get "lost" in the mall, hahaha. Sometimes I even do it on purpose! I'm going to have to say you've gotten lost in the mountains. That's easy enough to do even WITH a map. Thanks for playing today!

I think all kids get lost at the Mall, (and maybe the parents want it that way). But I'm opting for the mountains as your "true". You and your sis played rough! LOL!

Yodeling is so wacky sounding, but yet I wish I could do it, just to say I could do it.

JDaniel and I just read a book about a badger who yearns to yodel. What a trip.

Glad you survived all the breaks.

Zoo - because next week is Z!
We loved the yodeling - listened to it twice for fun!
Louire, ya know I'd yodel with you any day and gather more for a yodel contest!
Hugs,
Kim

I am in AWE of those who can yodel! I could listen to it all day ;^)

Also...I'm going to have to go with getting lost in the mountains? Hmmm...any of those would be scary alone. Yikes!

you got me thinking. I am wondering if the mall is false?

Gee! This is tough :o) I am not a good deducer (is that a word?) um..not a good guesser either! I would definitely be theone to get lost in the mountains, zoo or the mall! ...not really up there when it comes to my sense of direction!

Blessings & Aloha!

Hi Lourie!

You are a treasure!

I love this stop through Alphabe-Thursday's letter "Y"!

The yodelling thing was totally hilarious.

And hmmm.... for your quiz...I'm gonna have to go with D - none of the above.

Thanks for linking up!

You always make me smile!
