No Question
Today I do not have a question...well I do, but I am saving it for tomorrow. Now I bet you all have a question for me. "Why don't you have a question?" Well I have the answer....
As most of you know, we have been in the process of buying the very house we have been renting for the last two years. Well, after nearly 4 months of offers, paperwork, paper trails, appraisals, and just about anything else they could think of to throw at us, we are officially home owners!!!
So how did we celebrate? Well we started by inviting family: my mom, sis, niece and her guy friend, Emmy & Eric, and wow even my nephew stopped by...whose name also happens to be Eric! You invite said family for dinner and for a silly string war!!!

Armed and dangerous!
My cousin and I matched...shouldn't that mean we were a team? If so, why was he attacking me?
And when the cans emptied--which was very fast--we all resorted to picking it up off the street and throwing it at each other.
They may be sisters but when it comes to silly string, it's every man, woman, and sister for themselves!
All in all it was a lot of fun. And the kids--sans Ryan and Lucas--they liked it fine until they got assaulted with string. At least Lucas stayed outside. Ryan retreated into the safety of the garage.
Aftermath. It's still there as a reminder of our fun and celebration. There was never a for sale sign in our yard, no showings, and only a picture of the outside was ever shown in the listing. Nice. The best part is we don't have to move!
Then we had a yummy ham dinner with lots of loud kid noises and grown up laughter. It was a lot of fun. And now we can breathe a sigh of relief as the stress of house buying is off our shoulders.
A special thanks to my sister for taking the pictures of the silly string fight. I had my camera, but I had forgotten to put the memory card back into it! Sheesh!

Yes, I wish I would have brought my camera.. though then I would have been taking pictures instead of having fun. :)
Congrats again on the house.
Great news though. I am happy for you!
