You Must Tired!
Emmy has challenged her reader's again. Where's the funniest place and or position you(or someone you love) has fallen asleep? Well when Emmy first posted this challenge the very first image to pop in my head was a cute little blond girl about 4 years old. She was tired you see. So she did what any four year old would do...she grabbed a blanket, a pillow and...A BOX. Notice how the box is the length of my arm. How did I fit in there? Who knows? How was it even comfortable enough to go to sleep??? Again I am baffled!
Emily has a security blanket. It is part blanket, part stuffed animal. It's a pink bunny. The head and arms are plush and the rest of it is the blanket. She has had it since she was born. Somehow this child managed to break through the trim at the bottom and then she would stick her arms inside the the bunny. I have many pictures of Emily sleeping, but this one always makes me laugh.
Kristin is more like me, in that she has to be really tired to be able to fall asleep any place other than her bed. Even as a baby and toddler she wanted her bed. This was just last year as we were driving home from Disneyland. She was pooped, but she had fun!
Now this one may be a little hard to see. This was during our move across the country. We made many stops along the way to visit family and friends. On this particular stop, we were in Arizona to visit my aunt. We had cranked the AC up high because the room was sweltering hot. When we got back after dinner and visiting, it was like a meat locker! It was 55 degrees! Yes, 55. So needless to say we changed the thermo back to about 70. Poor Ryan, not even two yet, was sooo cold. No winter jammies, just summer ones. He curled up on his belly and was almost completely face down. He still does this if he gets too cold.
I have one more of Ryan...from when we got him his Junior bed. He had a very hard time adjusting to this. We still keep a gate at his door in order to keep him out of trouble and harm's way. One night before I went to bed, I did my usual nightly check. I found Ryan had gone to sleep....on the floor...by his gate.
