After the second time I got an extra spare and one of those "hide-a-key" boxes. I still double check my keys whenever I leave the house now.mormonhermitmomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10273403409277178248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5243779065169722919.post-47330669463582234472011-04-26T10:31:27.250-07:002011-04-26T10:31:27.250-07:00I'm always super paranoid about my keys. Even right now they sit on my desk here at work instead of in my purse where they should be.

I have however left my purse at WalMart once, in a shopping cart to be exact. I was almost home when I realized I didn't have it, drove all the way back to not find it in the cart, my heart sank. Thankfully a kind soul turned it in at the Customer Service desk, which is really not something I expected from a WalMart customer (isn't that a terrible thing to say??).

In general, I hate that sinking feeling you get when you realize you can't find something important/expensive!Amberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10347379582689290366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5243779065169722919.post-7247610769426262822011-04-26T09:55:32.396-07:002011-04-26T09:55:32.396-07:00I walked off and left my keys on the counter at Mc...I walked off and left my keys on the counter at McD's once... my friends were with me and knew that I had a John Deere tractor on my keys so they picked them up for me :)Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05620304858463524343noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5243779065169722919.post-69948490282383939592011-04-26T08:58:22.072-07:002011-04-26T08:58:22.072-07:00I like what Emmy said...it's so hard for me......I like what Emmy said...it's so hard for me...I just waffle back and forth.
And, girl, I leave my keys in my own dang front door all the time. But in church a few weeks ago someone said that it is not up to us to judge if they truly need help but just to serve...and so while I am keeping that in mind I still find myself torn.

Glad everything was found.Emmyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14675419215475635276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5243779065169722919.post-12464147538905792772011-04-26T07:26:46.686-07:002011-04-26T07:26:46.686-07:00Ha! We have found them in the fridge, in the dryer (she put them there when taking the clothes out), Once she lost them, couldn't find them at all, and then the snow melted and they were on the grass. People like that (you and her) are watched over extra I think. So your stuff isn't taken. She also loses her purse about every other week. :)

It is hard to decipher if someone is actually scamming or really in need. I used to keep a box of granola bars in my car and since I didn't have a lot of money to give, I would give a granola bar. It was a little bit of help, and if they were really homeless, they would be grateful. If they were scammers, no one was scammed. That was my way of helping and not feeling guilty.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09670661525139676900noreply@blogger.com
